What was the selection process?
All schools in
San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma County were invited to
apply. Five schools were chosen for the first cohort.
The following items were among the criteria for selection:
- size of school
- size of congregation
- rabbinic involvement in youth education
- congregational/lay leadership support
- educational leadership
