APPLY ON-LINE!
When is the application deadline?
March 14, 2008 Do I need to be a full-time student to apply?
Yes. Scholarships are for full-time students only. Is there an age limit for applicants?
Yes. Undergraduate students must be under the age of 24 and graduate students must be under the age of 30, as of January 1st of the application year. What are my chances of getting a scholarship?
70% of applicants received scholarships last year.
Please Note: our program is geared primarily to assist undergraduate students.
How many funds can I apply to and how many awards can I receive?
You may apply to more than one fund if you qualify, but you can receive only one scholarship award. You optimize your chances of receiving a scholarship by applying to multiple funds. Is this a one-time only scholarship?
No. You are welcome to reapply each year, unless otherwise noted. How do you decide who receives a scholarship?
The College Scholarship Committee of the Jewish Community Endowment Fund and the Bureau of Jewish Education make the final decision based on pre-established selection criteria. When will I know whether I received a scholarship?
We will notify you by mail during the summer. Where do I send documents requested with my on-line application (i.e. ... tax returns, FAFSA SAR report, copy of college acceptance and college financial aid award letter)?
